     William “Bill” T. Williams Sr., 98, of Peoria, passed away at 1:40 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Heddington Oaks in West Peoria.
     Funeral services will be at 1p.m on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria, with Pastor Keith Winkler officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
     Bill was born on October 16, 1918 in Sandoval, a son of Rolla and Minnie (Randant) Williams. He married Hermina Ann Schuetzenhofer on April 7, 1937 in Waterloo. They were married 70 years when she preceded him in death on October 2, 2007 in Peoria. He was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; and three infant grandchildren.
     He is survived by his children, Reverend Bill (Beverly) Williams of Peoria, Dottye (Stan Markowitz) Burt of Baltimore, MD and Valerie (Philip Eggersten) Williams of Carson City, NV; grandchildren, Julie Williams of Peoria, Adam Burt of Baltimore, MD and Josh (Lita) Williams of Peoria; four great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
     Bill retired in 2006 as a Construction Consultant in Sebring, FL. He moved to Peoria in 2006.
      He was a member of Laramie Street Baptist Church. When he was in Sebring, FL, he was a volunteer for A.R.C.
     The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Heddington Oaks for their tender care of Bill. They would also like to thank the Vitas Hospice Staff, Shawnda, Tina, Cathi, Sarah, David and Jamie for their wonderful care in his final days.
     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Bill’s memory to Laramie Street Baptist Church.
